Our Story

Sandro, a determined young man from Noordgesig, Soweto, faced adversity growing up but found solace and purpose in barbering. In 2018, he realized his dream by opening RoughCutzbarber, not just as a business but as a beacon of hope for his community. Sandro transformed his barbershop into a hub of empowerment and support by providing job opportunities and mentorship to at-risk youth. Over time, RoughCutzbarber became instrumental in reducing crime rates and offering meaningful employment, showcasing the power of entrepreneurship and community upliftment. Sandro's journey exemplifies how one person's determination and compassion can shape a brighter future for their neighborhood.
